THE GLOBE

A new identity, signage scheme and interior were designed
for the Globe. By wrapping the bar around the centre
stairs and glazing the exterior courtyard, the trading
area (shown as yellow in images three and four) was
increased by approximately 25%.
This also alleviated the bottleneck at the entrance,
gave better access to the bar, and opened up the sightlines
from the bar to every area of the pub. The bar serving
area was also increased and cellar access was easier.
